A group of local councilors decided to run car boot sales voluntarily, purely to be able to raise funds to be able to help out in instances where sometimes the council precept could not meet the demand.

During last year we were able to supply a new chain of office for our mayor and in previous years funds were able to make better provision for the amenities for the football teams all of these do have the effect of keeping the precept down.

Whilst in earlier days we ran the car boot sale as Princes Risborough Town Council, this is no longer the case.

We do stress that Risborough Car Booters run entirely separate to Princes Risborough Town Council, Same people, same objectives.
